"#FunFriday: The Dog Days of Summer" from "FeedBlitz News" … and we're back to Friday! Did this week seem to move at lightening speed or what? Perhaps that's because another three-day weekend (in Canada and for those of us state-side) is upon us. There's nothing quite like the rush of hurrying to get all that work done, before kicking back to relax with family and friends. We're big fans of a little down time to balance the usual fast-pace we run over here at FeedBlitz HQ. But Labor Day isn't the only holiday in our midst. Earlier this week, we National Dog Day was celebrated, so we thought it would be fun to highlight some of our favorite pups! I mean, really – is anyone doing any work today? We hope you'll take some time over these next few days to relax, reflect, and enjoy these last warm days of summer. And, if you have a pup of your own, make sure to spend extra time with him or her and share a photo on our Facebook page. We'd love to see you and your best friend enjoying the sunshine as these dog days of summer come to a close. Meet Some of Our Favorite PupsAll of these doggies are near and dear to our hearts. Many of them are part of the Arment Dietrich/Spin Sucks team. They’re kinda insane about their dogs. Have fun learning more about each of them and then say hello via their fan pages (yes, some actually have them!), or follow their “parents” on Twitter. ‘Sup Hank-DawgHank is an 8-month-old Viszla/Foxhound cross with a super cool mom. He's currently having some DNA testing done to determine exactly what else is in the mix as far as his breed is concerned (his mom tried asking him but he wasn't sure.) Hank spent some time recently hanging on the shores of Lake Erie, and he's affectionately referred to as: the dog with a sealskin coat, indefatigable, and the velcro-dog (that’s the Viszla in him). In his spare time, Hank likes to go for long power-walks with his mom. And if you're lucky, he'll friend you. It's Lola!LB, LBJ, Lola Bird Johnson, Lola Bird, Lola Bear … just to list a few of her nicknames. Lola just turned one last month and she's a Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier. Words her mom uses to describe her are adorable, playful, and a bit sassy. Lola is always looking to meet more friends so be sure to look her up. Bailey the WonderpupDon’t let the snoozing fool you. Bailey is a little athlete who’s always ready for a trail run — or a snack. OK, mostly snacks. He's a seven-year-old Beagle and the faithful sidekick of one Jason Konopinski. Although he doesn't have his own official fan page, you can keep up with his dad on Twitter. Meet JBJack Bauer (yes, from 24 fame…sort of) is pretty much a legend. His Facebook page has been around since February 2010 if that says anything. JB likes to eat toilet paper in his spare time and his mom affectionately refers to him by several nicknames: Cranky, Old Man, and Big Momma’s Boy. He's also quite handsome, hyper, and protective of his best friend, and proud mom, Gini. Loco for CocoOften you'll find Coco posing for pictures that are later shared on her mom's Facebook wall. Coco is a five-year-old Schnoodle who loves w-a-l-k-s (so much so that she goes spastic if she so much as hears the word), cuddling with her two human sisters, and napping in sun spots. She's an all-around sweetie who doesn't have a Facebook page of her own yet, so you can check out her mom's business page instead. And Then, There’s Mine!Yup, I have a pup also. The Hollows’ family dog Sable. She’s a black lab and border collie mix, which means she makes futile attempts to herd me – and anything else in the near vicinity – around. Happy Labor Day!Ok, that was a bit of goofy fun (I know, I know) – but heck, summer’s almost officially over. If you can’t goof-off on the last holiday weekend of the summer…! Be sure and check out our Facebook page, share your pups photo with us. Or cats. Or…rabbits? We'll include them next time. Stay safe, have fun, and have a great Labor Day weekend.
